Trip to the Sea BBQ
Wednesday, May 23rd at 5pm

Each year in late May, Dartmouth seniors in Ledyard Canoe Club paddle down the Connecticut river to its mouth and the Long Island Sound. On their way they stop for an overnight in Brunelle's Marina in South Hadley where the DCPV hosts them for a Barbeque.

The BBQ is a unique opportunity for Dartmouth families and friends to get together to enjoy the warmth of Spring and the beauty of the Connecticut River. The Dartmouth seniors are impressive athletes who love to share fun stories from their many ambitious outdoor adventures. May on the banks of the Connecticut river is a great time and place for a BBQ, and a great venu for families with kids. Brushing elbows with these very impressive Dartmouth seniors makes this event a real standout and a lot of fun.

Open Top Bus Ride Through Bright Lights

A tradition in Springfield is Bright lights, a tour through Forest Park decorated with beautiful Christmas lights. Bright Nights is New England's largest holiday lighting display. Enjoy the wonders of Seuss Land, Jurassic World, Toy Land, North Pole Village, and many more from the comfort of your own car. What could make this holiday festivity more fun? Riding through the park together and seeing the lights from the open top deck of a two-decker open English Bus. This is a family event you will not want to miss. This coming year we will try to put together a group of families from the Dartmouth Club to rent a bus and make the trip. Contact Vice President Mike Hoag for more information.

Using Email Addresses on Our Website

The <remove> in all of the email addresses in this website is to protect the recipient from SPAM (unsolicited junk mail). Companies that send out millions of SPAM emails use software called crawlers that robotically go from Website to Website collecting email addresses by matching the form xxxxx@yyyyy.com. If you have ever wondered how you got on lists for obnoxious emails peddling Viagra or worse, it could be thru the use of these crawlers. By adding the <remove> to all of our email addresses, it assures that if the address is collected by a crawler, it will be an undeliverable address and not come to your email account.

Highlight and delete the <remove> from the email address when sending an
email from links on this Website. The crawlers cannot do this, but people can.

These are some of the things that we can all agree you shouldn’t have to do, but we do have to do to protect ourselves. It can be a nasty world out there,
