Third Thursday Lunch. - 01/21/2010

For the third month in a row, NYC has hosting monthly “3rd Thursday” Class of 1979 mini-reunions. Nine classmates met for lunch in the Garden Cafe at the Japanese Kitano Hotel on 38th and Park Avenue. Attending were Beth Blatt, Carl Briscoe, Lisa Mendelson Friel, Douglas Furth, Lizanne Galbreath Megrue, Ellen Gomprecht Oppenheim, Laurie Rosenfield, Peggy Epstein Tanner, and Mark Winkler.

There were many great and relaxed conversations among friends old and new in a very quiet and comfortable setting. Prices were reasonable for NYC (except for the $7 ice teas). Everyone is excited about these monthly mini-reunions and are looking forward to being able to make ones in the future. Several classmates have already signed themselves up for future events to attend or even host. All of our “cousin” classmates are heartily welcomed to join a very supportive group especially if you are in NYC from out of town.
